Helen Davidson

Helen is our Senior Family Lawyer who has become an invaluable addition to our Family Law department.

Helen’s passion and supportive nature to her clients and the greater community are second to none. She brings a wealth of professional knowledge and experience to the firm and will always put the needs of her clients and their family at the forefront of her role as Lawyer.

Helen holds a Bachelor of Media Studies, a Post Graduate Degree in Law. Prior to her employment at Nicholas James Lawyers, Helen managed the Family Law/Family Violence team at Fitzroy Legal Service following her role as a Family and Child Protection Lawyer with Victoria Legal Aid.

In addition to her role as Senior Lawyer, Helen is a Moreland Councillor having been first elected to Local Government in 2012. She was also Mayor of the City of Moreland from 2016 to 2017 which is an impressive and inspirational achievement.

Helen is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She was Chair of the Moreland Urban Planning Committee from 2014 to 2016. She also currently holds the portfolios of the Status of Women in Moreland and Sport and Recreation in Moreland.
