Lisa joined Nicholas James Lawyers in 2019 and has since excelled in her role. Having graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2014, Lisa was soon admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in February 2015. Soon after, Lisa was admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia in April 2015.
Lisa’s practise is complimented by a vast range of previous experience and qualifications, including a Diploma of Management and Business and experience working as Transcript Manager and Court reporter providing transcript services to all courts in the Northern Territory. She has worked on various high-profile cases throughout her career. Whilst at her previous firm HWMK, Lisa was appointed as the first female principal solicitor in the firm’s 30 year history.
Lisa is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Victorian Women Lawyers Association and has been a Committee Member for the Western Suburbs Law Association since 2017. Lisa has been honoured as a Friend Solicitor of the Salvation Army for three years running for her contribution in providing pro bono legal services to the local community. She is also on the Victoria Legal Aid Section 29A Panel for Family Law.
Lisa practises in the areas of Wills and Estates, Probate, Guardianship and Administration, Victims of Crime and Family Law.
